Joel Heath, one of our Anchorage area National Guard Chaplains recently passed on the following information for Alaska pastors and their congregations. It is their desire to link caring communities, faith organizations and agencies with the National Guard in support of these warriors and their families who face unique challenges because of their service. Here’s his article to faith communities:
Partners in Care –
Thank you for your support of approximately 4,000 soldiers, airmen and their families! They are your neighbors and friends – fellow citizens in time of peace and service members who mobilize in time of disaster, community need, or war. Your support and service to them conveys a great gift of recognition and honor.
The “Partners in Care” program reflects the desire to link caring communities in support of these warriors and their families who face unique challenges because of their service. Alaska’s shared strength and resources make us all stronger.
Please consider accepting this worthwhile project and working with the Alaska National Guard Chaplains as “Partners in Care.”
